Greater Orlando Week 11 District Results: Seminole Finishes Undefeated, Playoff Picture Set

The final Friday of the regular season settled Greater Orlando’s FHSAA playoff picture. District champions are locked in, official brackets are expected on November 6, and the first round of the playoffs begins November 13. Here is how Week 11 played out across the area, from Prep Prospect Report Media.

Seminole 30, Oviedo 29

Seminole closed the regular season 10-0 as the area’s only undefeated team, holding off Oviedo’s late two-point conversion try. Daniel Proenza threw for 84 yards and 2 touchdowns on 11-of-16 passing and added 81 rushing yards and another score. Jamarion Coleman led the defense with 12 tackles, Jaxson Wade added 11 tackles and an interception, and Kendrick Miles posted 10 tackles and a sack. For Oviedo, Sebastian Galeano threw for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns, Johnnie Rollins topped 100 kick-return yards, and 2027 PPR Watchlist receiver Jordan Donahoo stayed active in the passing game.

Bishop Moore 31, Lake Mary 17

Tied 17-17, Bishop Moore took over late behind quarterback Blake McCullough, who hit Magnus Talma on a 45-yard touchdown and ran in two fourth-quarter scores. Donovan Ferrufino added a 27-yard touchdown run and Nicolas Salas kicked a 38-yard field goal as Bishop Moore improved to 8-2 with its eighth straight win.

West Orange 25, Jones 24

West Orange scored late to edge Jones and finish 9-1, with its defense forcing an interception on Jones’ opening play to set the tone.

Evans 46, Dr. Phillips 0

Evans rolled to a shutout behind PPR Watchlist quarterback Will Jackson, carrying the momentum from last week’s Class 5A District 4 title into the playoffs with a high seed projected.

DeLand 44, Spanish River 13

DeLand improved to 9-1 and controlled the game early, with running back Taihj Moore continuing the ground form that produced 222 yards and 4 touchdowns a week earlier. DeLand remains a high-seed contender in Class 6A.

East Ridge 49, Tavares 7

East Ridge dominated behind Karon Palmer Jr. and Lamar Garrison, closing the regular season with momentum a week after ending an 18-year district title drought.

Edgewater 35, Boone 21

Edgewater controlled the line of scrimmage and Jaelyn Powell kept his strong rushing season going, a week after Edgewater claimed the Class 6A District 6 title.

Winter Park 40, Ocoee 15

Josh Shaw ran for 3 touchdowns and Johnny Slack scored on both a punt return and a reception as Winter Park stayed in the at-large mix in a competitive Class 6A district race. Ocoee competed early but could not match Winter Park’s balance.

Lake Nona 40, Innovation 0

Lake Nona shut out Innovation to end its perfect-season hopes. Quarterback Elijah Nickerson stayed in strong form after a 301-yard, 3-touchdown outing the previous week, and Lake Nona controlled the game throughout after already securing its district title.

Lake Brantley 56, Hagerty 0

Lake Brantley blanked Hagerty; Hagerty lost its quarterback in the loss, a result that also shapes the final rankings race for the remaining at-large playoff spots.

More Week 11 Finals

South Lake 24, South Sumter 20; Apopka 35, Wekiva 0.

Prep Prospect Report Media will have the official FHSAA brackets when they are released on November 6, plus first-round coverage when the playoffs open on November 13.
