No. 17 Florida (5-2, 3-2 SEC) is set to take on No. 3 Georgia (6-1, 4-1 SEC) at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
As part of our weekly scouting report, Gator Country highlights five Georgia Bulldogs to watch against Florida.
QB Gunner Stockton #14
Georgia’s offense uses a number of different running backs, tight ends and receivers, but it runs through senior quarterback Gunner Stockton. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound quarterback is completing 74.1% of his passes and has thrown for 1,570 yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s also found success on the ground, rushing for 160 yards and a touchdown this season.
Stockton has been accurate at all three levels of the field and has performed well under pressure through seven games. He’s been sacked just eight times and has yet to throw an interception when facing pressure.
Stockton is the leader of this team and has established himself as a reliable SEC quarterback who can make plays with both his arm and his legs.
LB Chris Cole #9
Georgia’s linebacker room is the heart of its defense, led by junior Chris Cole, a projected first-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft.
Cole has recorded 40 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and three pass deflections this season. He’s Georgia’s highest-rated defensive player and the 10th-ranked linebacker in the FBS, according to Pro Football Focus.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound linebacker is an athletic, rangy defender who can hold his own in coverage. He’ll line up in the slot, on the defensive line or in the box. He’s also a willing blitzer, a trait you’ll see frequently among Georgia’s linebackers.
CB Ellis Robinson IV #1
Another projected first-round pick on Georgia’s defense is cornerback Ellis Robinson IV. At 6-foot, 180 pounds, he’s undersized for the position, but Robinson IV is a ballhawk. In 2025, he earned freshman defensive player of the year honors after recording four interceptions and seven pass breakups. This season, he’s tallied one interception and five pass breakups.
He’s allowed just 147 yards on 25 targets, surrendering 13 catches and holding opposing quarterbacks to a passer rating of 66.6. The longest catch he’s allowed this season is 24 yards.
Despite his size, Robinson IV has missed just two tackles this season.
WR Craig Dandridge #81
Georgia will rely on several different wide receivers, but true freshman Craig Dandridge leads the Bulldogs with 310 receiving yards this season. He’s totaled that production on just 17 catches, averaging more than 18 yards per reception.
His role has increased over the last two weeks, as he’s combined for eight catches and 133 yards against Alabama and Auburn. Dandridge recorded a career-high 88 receiving yards against the Tigers last week.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound receiver has already recorded three catches of at least 40 yards and four of at least 30 yards.
Dandridge has plenty of speed and lines up both in the slot and out wide. Nearly all of his production has come on deep passes, particularly over the middle of the field. He’s been Stockton’s most reliable deep-ball target, with the quarterback completing six of seven deep passes to Dandridge for 218 yards.
S KJ Bolden
Georgia starting safety KJ Bolden is questionable for the contest after missing last week’s game, and his availability could play a major role in the matchup. He’s one of the more experienced and talented safeties in college football, and Georgia’s defense missed his presence last week.
Bolden was a Freshman All-American in 2025 and earned Second-Team All-American honors a year later. The 6-foot, 195-pound safety excels against the run and has the range to cover the field. He’s a cornerstone of Georgia’s defense, making his availability worth monitoring heading into Saturday.
